This notice covers the PBJ website, its email or text-update waitlist, and the separate assistant SMS enrollment form. PBJ (Peanut Botter & Jelly) is a product in development operated by Pouria Pezeshkian, not a separately incorporated company.
What we collect
When you join, we store the email address or phone number you provide, signup time, and the version of the relevant consent notice. For phone entries, we also record that consent was submitted through this website and that the number is unverified and text delivery is disabled. This site does not connect to your inbox or collect your tasks or calendar.
Assistant SMS enrollment is stored separately: your phone number, submission time, the exact consent notice and its version, the enrollment page used, and the unverified, delivery-disabled status. We do not copy waitlist numbers or consent into the assistant program.
Why we use it
We use waitlist entries to manage the waitlist and provide PBJ early-access and product updates. Assistant enrollment records instead capture your choice to receive task reminders, daily summaries, account notifications, and replies to your requests when that service is available. Assistant consent does not authorize marketing or waitlist-update texts, and waitlist consent does not authorize assistant texts.
Email signup does not authorize texts. Each SMS form has its own unchecked consent box. Texting is not active yet: signup saves your number and consent, but does not send a message or verify ownership. We do not sell contact details or SMS consent. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Hosting and security
The site and waitlist are hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes information needed to operate the service and may handle technical request data such as network addresses. The signup endpoint uses a short-lived, keyed network fingerprint to limit abuse; it does not store your raw IP address in the waitlist database. Expired rate-limit records are removed on subsequent signup attempts.
We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The waitlist is not publicly readable. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please do not enter anything other than your chosen contact details.
Messaging providers
We are preparing Twilio to deliver the future assistant SMS service. The public enrollment form currently stores consent on Cloudflare and does not send signup details to Twilio or send a text. When delivery is enabled, Twilio will process the phone number and message data needed to provide messaging. Sharing with service providers is for operating the service, not their independent marketing.
How long we keep it
We retain your entry while we operate the program you joined, unless you ask us to remove it. If we discontinue a program, we will delete its entries. We may retain a minimal suppression record to honor an opt-out and records needed to meet applicable obligations. This notice does not authorize unrelated uses of your contact details.
Your choices and contact
You can ask to leave the waitlist, withdraw consent, access or correct your entry, or request deletion. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address or phone number before disclosing or changing an entry. Contact: hello@peanutbotterjelly.com
Product-update emails will include an unsubscribe option. Once text messaging launches, messages will support STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance; these are not active services today. Before then, use the contact above to request removal. You can choose email instead of texts and browse without joining.
For assistant SMS enrollment, or if you cannot reach the public contact above, email peanutbotterjelly.ops@gmail.com. Tell us which program you want to leave; neither form enrolls you in the other program.
When PBJ opens
Using the future PBJ application or connecting an account will require separate information and choices. Neither waitlist signup nor assistant SMS consent connects your inbox or calendar or lets PBJ act on your behalf. Before enabling any text delivery, we must finish provider setup and the verification, support, and opt-out processes. See the separate Assistant SMS terms for that program.
